Channel 4 -The Food Chain
The Food Chain is a documentary series airing on Mondays from 8:30 PM, focused on the inner workings of the UK’s food distribution web.
It explores the journeys of our food from field, farm and sea to supermarket and to dining table. The first episode followed the sea salt and Bramley apples, showing that the two ingredients go cross country before ending up on our plates. The second episode followed Isle of Wight tomatoes and Cornish sardines and the third episode followed eggs from Somerset and raspberries from Pertshire.
