Cell is the screen adaptation of Stephen King’s 2006 novel of the same name, set to hit US theaters on July 8.
The American SF horror film centers around Clay Riddel, a New England artist, who struggles to stop the person controlling an electronic signal broadcast over the global cell phone network, with a terrible effect on humans: turns them into killers. As the city becomes a place of chaos, Riddel tries also to find his wife and son.
