Aldi UK launched a new advert campaign for Aldi Mamia nappies in order to spread the information about their success at Mother & Baby Awards, where they outrun their main competitor, and to guarantee reimbursement in case of purchase and insatisfaction after use.
The 30-second ad starts with a woman trying to give birth in a hospital. When the childbirth assistant announces that it’s a boy, a teenager boy shows off, saying “Hello, mother. You look terribly tired”. He then adds “Can I drive you home?”, waving a car key.
“That’s amazing”, exclaims the childbirth assistant.
“I told you it’s amazing”, answers the mother.
The advert ends with the narrator saying that “Aldi Mamia beat Pampers 3 years running at Mother & Baby Awards”, and adding “Take the challenge. Try Aldi Mamia nappies. There’s even a money back guarantee”.
