ABC Series: Of Kings and Prophets
Of Kings and Prophets is a new American television drama series that will air on ABC starting March 8, 2016.
Based on the Biblical Books of Samuel, it has Saul (Ray Winstone) and David (Olly Rix), the successive kings of Israel, as the main characters. Their family life and their polical rivalries are also illustrated in the show.
According to the writer Adam Cooper, the online edits of the series might differ from the broadcast version in terms of how racy they might get, suggesting that sex scenes will be edited for the television.
