Title: Walk in Her Shoes 2016

About – CARE is an international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls.

HP: “Women and girls in developing countries walk an average of 6km every day to collect water, food and firewood for their families.
Walk 25km, 50km or 100km from 8 to 14 March 2016 and raise funds to support CARE Australia’s vital projects that help reduce the distance women and girls have to walk by providing clean water and nutritious food close to home. This means girls can spend more time in school, women can earn an income and together they can help their communities step out of poverty”.

How far would you send a child for water?
Girls in developing countries walk around 6km daily to collect water, food and firewood.
Depriving them of school, placing them in danger, and trapping them in a cycle of poverty.
You can help change this.
Register for Walk in Her Shoes 8-14 March, 2016 and help her step out of poverty.
