SEAT showcases its first all-electric family car, the SEAT el-Born, in a new commercial.

The power to move differently.” onscreen lines read throughout the 60-second spot, which features various people illustrating through their actions, jobs, or hobbies, the idea of change as an attitude that helps humanity evolve. A female boxer, an Asian cook, a female surfer, a basketball player, a skateboarder, an artist on stage, a fashion designer, dancers, graffiti artists – are all featured in the video, which is scored by the 2018 single from ’80s legend Chaka Khan, entitled “Like Sugar” and included on her twelfth studio album, “Hello Happiness”. This album marks the singer’s first new material since 2007’s Funk This.
According to the Spanish automaker, the all-electric SEAT el-Born concept, which takes its name from a trendy region of SEAT’s home city, Barcelona, boasts a 62kWh battery and has a range of 261 miles. It has 100kW DC charging, so it can be restored from zero charge to 80% in 47 minutes. In terms of exterior design, it features 20-inch. wheels, a short bonnet, a flush front grille that incorporates some triangular patterns, a blacked-out C-pillar designed to make the roof appear as if it’s floating. The interior has dashboard with a “floating” 10-inch infotainment screen, a that controls the heating and ventilation. The vehicle is likely to arrive in SEAT dealers in the first half of 2020.
