Kingdom Hearts 3 Launch Commercial Song

Kingdom Hearts 3 Commercial

Kingdom Hearts III, now available on Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, is advertised in a launch commercial.

The Square Enix video game, set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds, follows Sora, a young boy and unknowing heir to a spectacular power, as he embarks, together with Donald Duck and Goofy, on a quest to stop an evil force known as the Heartless from invading and overtaking the universe. Throughout their journey, the three friends join forces with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to overcome tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.

The ad opens with Sora saying “All my strength came from them. Alone I’m worthless” and goes on by giving viewers a glimpse into what follows for him. One of the shots sees him encouraging Winnie the Pooh and telling him that what matters is he’ll be in Winnie’s heart. “His heart and his mind are made up. Now believe in him,” a character says in voiceover.

The song used in the commercial is “Don’t Think Twice” by Japanese singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru, which serves as the ending theme song to the game. “Don’t Think Twice” and its Japanese-language counterpart, “Chikai,” were released as a B-side of the single “Face My Fears” as a CD single on January 18, 2019.

Kindgom Hearts III is available for purchase as digital edition, standard edition and Deluxe edition, which includes steelbook case, artbook and exclusive pin. The last two editions are sold by Square Enix, GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart.
