Roswell, New Mexico (Trailer The CW)

The CW gives viewers a new glimpse into the town of Roswell, New Mexico, in the latest trailer for the series “Roswell, New Mexico,” set to premiere early 2019.

The show follows Lix, a biomedical researcher and the daughter of undocumented Mexican immigrants, who – after reluctantly returning to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush, Max, who is now a police officer: he’s an alien-human hybrid who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. According to the official synopsis, “she protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance”.

The series, a reboot of Roswell, stars Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parsons, Tyler Blackburn, Michael Trevino.

“You can’t ever be with her. If you ever tell her what you are, there are too many secrets,” Max is warned in the 40-second trailer, which features a woman’s voice singing “Hold me in your arms” and the words “A mystery. A legend. A love.” flashing across the screen.

Roswell, New Mexico premieres Tuesday, January 15 at 9/8c on The CW, and will be available next day free only on The CW App.
