DHL wishes people happy holidays this festive season in its Christmas commercial.
The animated spot features Holly, a little girl who’s about to write a letter that initially seems for Santa.
Viewers don’t get to see who she’s writing to because her older siblings show up and disturb her. She is seen putting the envelope the next day at the post and the waiting for something. One evening, a DHL deliveryman brings them a big package with a red ribbon and leaves back to his car, where the kid’s letter is stuck. It turns out the letter was actually to DHL, asking for a big present for her brother and sister.
The commercial, scored by “Christmas list” by David Tobin & Jeff Meegan, ends with the onscreen line “Happily delivering Christmas cheer since 1969”.
