Hyundai advertises the 2019 Elantra in Canada as the car “Connected to You”. The automotive company has released a new commercial, showcasing the re-designed Elantra and some of its brand new available technologies that help keep you safe and connected.
The 30-second ad features several Hyundai Elantra users as they use the car’s connective technologies, such as the segment-exclusive Safe Exit Alarm, the wireless smartphone charging pad, the available 8″ touchscreen with a built-in navigation system, which includes a complimentary Hyundai Map Care system, BlueLink connected car system, which enables drivers to locate their vehicle, remotely start the engine, lock or unlock the doors and even automatically call the emergency services in case of an accident, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allows you to interact with your favorite apps, use voice command for text messages and more.
The commercial, set to the 2012 single “Happy (feat. Derek Martin)” by French musical group C2C, ends with the voiceover saying the tagline “The New Elantra. Connected to You”.
The 2019 Hyundai Elantra, starting at $16,999, features a redesigned exterior, with an all-new grille that makes a sporty statement, LED headlights, LED tail lights, LED side repeaters, power sunroof, hands-free smart trunk, 17″ alloy wheels, and door-handle welcome lights, as well as a redesigned interior, which boasts heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, multimedia displays, dual-zone climate control, Infinity premium-sound system, and power driver’s seat with lumbar support. In terms of safety, the new Elantra comes with a suite of available SmartSense safety technologies, including Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Driver Attention Warning, and more.
