Netflix Celebrate Pride Trailer

Netflix celebrates pride by proudly streaming shows that tackle LGBTQ issues and invites you to do the same, by watching them.

The 60-second spot includes footage from Netflix shows like Riverdale (whose season 2 is now streaming), where gay teen Kevin Keller (Casey Cott) has a relationship with Moose Mason (Cody Kearsley), Unbreakable Kimmy Schimdt (whose season 4 is now streaming), starring Tituss Burgess as Titus Andromedon, Kimmy’s flamboyantly gay roommate and an aspiring actor and singer, Dear White People (whose Volume 2 is now streaming), Tig Notaro’s playful stand-up special, Happy To Be Here, set at the historic Heights Theater in Houston, Sense8: The Series Finale, Alex Strangelove, a comedy drama film written and directed by Craig Johnson, about high school student Alex Truelove, who questions his sexuality after meeting Elliott, an openly gay teenager, Queer Eye (whose season 2 is streaming), Hannah Gadsby’s stand-up special Nanette, and more.

The song used in the trailer is “Stand Up” by Clooney, included on the 2012 album “Superpop (Like You Mean It)”, featuring various artists.

Every year, during the month of June, the LGBT community celebrates in a number of different ways, across the globe, by organizing events aimed at recognizing the influence LGBT people have had around the world.
