Annabelle Wallis stars in a new commercial for Cartier, showcasing “the ultimate jeweled watch”, Panthère de Cartier.
The 33-year-old British actress, who has been named the new face of Panthère de Cartier, is seen, in a 15-second spot, admiring the view from a penthouse, reading and eating grapes, while in the background Donna Summer’s hit song “I Feel Love” is playing.
The Panthère de Cartier collection includes 13 models from small and case made in steel to medium and case made in various types of gold, including 18K white gold, yellow and pink gold. The bracelet set with hundreds of brilliant-cut diamonds, the crown decorated with a diamond, blued-steel sword-shaped hands are elements included in some of the models, designed to be “a true style icon for women who never go unnoticed.” Prices range from $4,000 to $141,000.
In a press statement released a week ago, Cartier said of Wallis that, “Behind her luminous complexion, blue eyes and gentle manner, the Maison discovered a great strength of character, a fearless spirit and a hunger for self-expression: the soul of a panther, driven and determined to turn convention on its head and get her teeth into something.” “Annabelle Wallis embodies the Panthère woman,” the French fashion house also said. The actress said, in a statement, she found that “Panthère de Cartier resonates with the forces and energy that drive” her “as a woman”. She has also talked, in an interview for the label, about the watch she’s wearing as brand ambassador, describing it as “bold, iconic, and timeless”, sharing her point of view on other things, as well.
This is not the only endorsement deal Cartier has made with a Hollywood celebrity. Earlier this year, at the end of March, Jake Gyllenhaal was named the face of the Santos de Cartier collection.
