Huawei has tapped Gal Gadot to promote the new Huawei P20 Pro. The acclaimed actress, who was appointed Global Brand Ambassador, stars in a new commercial for the Chinese tech giant, using the amazing tool to capture a variety of things around her. Dressed in gorgeous gowns of different colours, to match the range of different coloured devices, including Silver, Black, White and Twilight Purple, Gadot is seen in several surreal places, taking shots of a mysterious creature, of a waterfall and more. “I see. I feel. I create. I capture the beyond. In my world, there are no roots, no boundaries,” she is heard saying, while in the background the song “Top of This World” composed by Tomer Biran and performed by Anat Ben Hemo is playing.
Released with the hashtag #SeeMore, the campaign film was created by agency LH/TBWA and directed by Eli Sverdlov through production company Jiminy Creative.
The Wonder Woman star, who was enlisted in January as Chief Experience Officer (CEO) at Huawei, has appeared in other Huawei ads in the past, for Huawei P9.
Launched on Tuesday, 27 March, at the iconic Grand Palais in Paris, the Huawei P20 Pro boasts a 6.1-inch FullHD+ OLED display, “the world’s first triple-lens Leica camera” with powerful proprietary innovation including object recognition and super slow-motion, the largest light sensor in a smartphone to allow in more light, resulting in a clear, focused image, and Night Mode. A pair of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and IP67 dust- and water-resistance are other key features of Huawei’s new top-end flagship smartphone. Its camera capabilities have been tested, for another campaign film, by model and photographer Helena Christensen, who captured the portraits of three young women in a photoshoot done only with the Huawei P20 Pro.
The Huawei P20 Pro will be on sale from April 6, with official pricing set at €899/£799 (around $1,110, AU$1,450).
