Bell Canada promotes, in one of its latest ads, its Fibre Internet services, which enable you to enjoy super-fast speeds of up to 1 Gbps for all you want to do online.
Titled “Street Race”, the spot features several skiers skiing down a street in a race attended also by a snowboarder. When a certain skier gets the upper hand, the others stop, looking at their competitor, who is a methaphor for Bell’s fibre-powered Internet, with awe. “Bring the fastest, right to your home.” an onscreen line reads at the end of the spot, which is soundtracked by Demi Lovato’s 2015 single “Confident” from her fifth studio album of the same name.
As the commercial ends, it turns out a man was watching the street race on his laptop, from the comfort of his kitchen, while cooking. The voiceover informs that Fibre is the fastest Internet technology and only Bell brings it to more homes every day.
The communications company offers a range of packages that customers can choose from based on the speed that suits their needs, from up to 3Mbps to up to 1 Gbps. Prices range from $34.95/month to $99.95/month.
