BMW has released the official launch film for the all-new BMW X4, as well as a series of videos each focusing on original BMW accessories, driving dynamics, design, and the BMW Connected+ mobile app.
The official launch film gives viewers a glimpse at the newest addition to the X family, showcasing the “extravagantly styled and dynamically stretched lines of the exterior” and the spacious interior, which features a panorama glass ceiling seamlessly integrated into the roofline, sports seats, M leather steering wheel, brushed aluminium trim, Full-Color Head-Up Display, which projects information such as navigation directions, current speed, and a scrollable song list onto the windshield, directly in the driver’s line of sight, and iDrive 5.0 system with wireless integration of apps like Spotify and Pandora, enhanced graphics, iDrive controller, and a navigation system that learns and adapts to your frequently driven routes.
The new BMW X4 also features an M Performance TwinPower Turbo Inline 6 cylinder petrol engine with 360 hp, 8-speed Tiptronic transmission, as well as state-of-the-art driving assistance systems including Steering and Lane Control Assistant.
All X4 models will get the newest version of BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system Nicolas Peter, Member of the Board of BMW AG, responsible for Finance, said that “2018 will be the year of ‘X’!” and that, besides the new BMW X4, the line-up of the brand’s X range will also be extended with “the incredibly cool X2 in spring” and that “the hotly anticipated BMW X7 will go into production at Plant Spartanburg”.
The all-new 2019 BMW X4 will be available at certified BMW Centers later this year, in July, with msrp starting at $50,450 for 30i, and $60,450 for M40i plus Destination and Handling.
