Coach Spring 2018 campaign has been launched by the NYC-based luxury fashion company, revealing that the upcoming collection, by Stuart Vevers, is an ode to the works of artist Keith Haring.
The 30-second ad, shot by Steven Meisel, showcases a variety of pieces from the Spring 2018 collection, including the Page crossbody, which references Coach bags from the ‘90s, and features genuine snakeskin details and Western-inspired prairie rivets and pearly cabochons, the Bleecker Backpack, updated in graphic Wild Beast leather, the Metropolitan Portfolio, described as “a no-fuss bag made for the modern man”, and more.
Haring’s artwork is featured also on satin bomber jackets and tees, which are embellished with sequins. The collection also includes delicate lace slip dresses, skirts, and glitter Western-inspired booties.
The song used in the commercial is the 2012 single “Five Seconds” by Dominican American singer/songwriter Twin Shadow (George Lewis Jr. by his real name), from his second album, “Confess”.
