Sephora has released a new commercial, promoting NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment, which is described as “an innovative, weightless, matte liquid lip pigment with ultra-flexible, lasting wear”.
The ad stars Bella Hadid sporting faux bangs and an all-black outfit consisting of a leather bra and high-waisted jeans, alongside model Justin Gossman, while in the background the song “Baby C’mon” by Jet Trash is heard.
François Nars, Founder and Creative Director of NARS cosmetics, said of the supermodel fronting the brand’s fall
campaign that she “has a very strong and powerful look” that he thinks is “very well suited to a bold product, like Powermatte”.
According to the brand, this lip pigment features a “sensorial, lightweight texture” that “applies like ink on your lips, and then it dries down instantly to lock in color for smudge-resistant, carefree wear”, and its custom doe-foot applicator provides effortless, precise application and full coverage in one swipe.
The Powermatte Lip Pigment, which is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner, is available in eighteen different shades and can be purchased at NARS boutiques and online, as well as at Sephora for $26.
