Carol Vorderman - The Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain's Awards

ITV has released a promo for this year’s edition of The Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain’s Awards, that will be taking place on Tuesday November 7th, at the Grosvenor House in London’s Park Lane, and will be broadcast on ITV starting 8pm.

“Tonight, as you know, is the night we celebrate the people who make our country great.” – host Carol Vorderman says throughout the trailer, mentioning qualities like “courage”, “selflessness”, and “dedication”. A cast of celebrities, including David Beckham, Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, and One Direction’s Liam Payne, is featured in the trailer, in which “extraordinary everyday heroes” as the voiceover calls them, such as firefighters, are also featured.

At the glittering event, Beckam, Cowel, Payne, Joanna Lumley, Sir Michael Caine, Sir Rod Stewart, Sir Lenny Henry, and Suranne Jones will honor some truly awe-inspiring people.

“This year has seen some shocking events. But it’s also been a year of extraordinary everyday heroes.” – the voiceover says, before announcing that the ceremony will air on ITV from 8pm.

The song playing in the background is the 2017 single “”Dusk Till Dawn” by English singer Zayn featuring Australian
singer-songwriter Sia.
