State Farm Commercial Song – Aaron Rodgers, His Dog and Clay Matthews

State Farm has released a new commercial, starring Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers, his dog, and his teammate Clay Matthews, advising viewers to give their vehicles the protection they deserve.

The 30-second spot, titled “Together”, features Aaron finding his truck’s windshield damaged by a drone. During his discussion with a State Farm agent, he mentions that, in seven years, the vehicle has never had a scratch, making the lady note that “that’s more than a scratch”. At this point, Aaron’s dog, Rigsbee, is shown recalling all the precious moments he and Aaron spent in the SUV. As the ad continues, viewers get to see some of the places the two
went together, such as the seaside, where they played with the soccer ball, took selfies, and spent evenings near the fire, the desert, where they enjoyed the andrenaline rush on an exciting ride through the dunes, and the fun city rides, when they were both taking their heads out of the window and their tongues out of the mouth.

“State Farm knows it’s more than a truck, so why not give it the protection it deserves?” – the voiceover asks at the end of the spot, when it is revealed the identity of the one responsible for the damage: Clay Matthews, who shows up holding the remote controller and says he’s sorry. Rigsbee doesn’t seem to believe him, though, judging by his reaction.

The song playing in the background is “Believe It or Not” by American singer Joey Scarbury, included on his 1981 debut album, “America’s Greatest Hero”.

The ad is scheduled to roll out on Sunday, September 10th, debuting on CBS and FOX during the noon games.
