The trailer for Amazon’s new anthology series Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams, based on the works of prolific sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick, has been released.
The show, produced by Emmy winner Bryan Cranston, who also stars, will consist of ten standalone episodes, titled “The Commuter”, “Impossible Planet”, “Crazy Diamond”, “Father Thing”, “Real Life”, “The Hood Maker”, “Kill All Others”, “Autofac”, “Safe and Sound”, and “Human Is”, and stars Timothy Spall, Tuppence Middleton, Anne Reid, Jack Reynor, Benedict Wong, Geraldine Chaplin, Julia Davis, Steve Buscemi, Joanna Scanlan, Greg Kinear, Jack Gore, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Richard Madden, Glenn Morshower, Sarah Baker, Juno Temple, Ruth Bradley, Liam Cunningham, and many more.
The trailer, first launched by the Australian streaming service Stan, features, among others, a mysterious pig-man creature, a young boy trying to warn the audience that his father is an alien. “We’re weaving dreams.” – Benedict Wong’s character says before the trailer ends.
The song playing in the background is “Ulthuan” by Nick Phoenix & Thomas Bergersen.
Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams will air on Channel 4 in the UK and on Amazon Prime in the US.
