Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures has released the official trailer for director Eli Roth’s reimagining of the classic 1974 revenge thriller Death Wish, starring Bruce Willis.
According to the official synopsis, the film follows Dr. Paul Kersey, a surgeon living in Chicago whose wife and college-age daughter are attacked in their suburban home. He embarks on a quest to track down the assailants and exact revenge, making the city wonder if the he – known in the media as a “white dude” dressed in a hoodie that slays criminals – is a guardian angel or a grim reaper.
The cast also includes Elisabeth Shue, Camila Morrone, Vincent D’Onofrio, Dean Norris, Jack Kesy, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Beau Knapp, Kimberly Elise, Ian Matthews, Ronnie Gene Blevins, and others.
The trailer, set to the rhythms of AC/DC’s Back in Black, features Bruce Willis’ character turning into a killing machine after losing his family, making the criminals pay for what they’ve done.
The film is set to be released this fall, on November 22.
