McDonald’s Big Flavour Wraps Advert Song – Punk Girl with Short Green Hair

McDonald's TV Advert - Punk Girl Waitress

McDonald’s UK has launched a new TV ad, urging viewers to try a crispy or grilled chicken wrap and keep an eye out for the Wrap of the Day, changing daily, for just £1.99.

The 30-second spot features a teenage boy with his father at a McDonald’s drive-thru, ordering wraps. When the youngster sees the girl that prepares the food for them, sporting short green hair, purple eye wear, and a tattoo on her neck, he can’t take his eyes off of her.

The song playing in the background is the 1989 single “What Do I Get?” by English punk rock band Buzzcocks, from
their album “Live at the Roxy Club April ’77”.

The fast-food restaurant chain introduced wraps as part of its Deli Choices range, in 2011. The Big Flavour
Wraps range includes the Garlic Mayo Chicken, made with succulent pieces of grilled chicken breast with garlic mayo, tomato, lettuce and cucumber in a soft toasted tortilla wrap, the Sweet Chilli Chicken, made with succulent pieces of grilled* chicken breast with sweet chilli sauce, cool mayo, lettuce and cucumber in a soft toasted tortilla wrap, the Hot Peri Peri Chicken, made with succulent pieces of grilled chicken breast with hot Peri Peri sauce, Pepper Jack cheese, lettuce and sliced white onion in a soft toasted tortilla wrap, and the BBQ Chicken Bacon, made with succulent pieces of grilled chicken breast with smoky BBQ sauce, cool mayo, Beechwood Smoked bacon, tomato and lettuce in a soft toasted tortilla wrap.

The Big Flavour Wraps, available from 10.30 at participating restaurants, cost £1.99 each.
