Carolina Herrera has released the 30-second version of the commercial promoting the new new ultra-feminine fragrance Good Girl.
The spot, created by Santiago & Mauricio and shot on location in New York, features model Karlie Kloss dressed in a long black dress and wearing a pair of black stilettos, as she turns heads on her way to a hotel, to meet her date. What happens around her when she walks in the middle of the street, with confidence and sensuality? Glances are transformed into stares, cars crush because drivers have their eyes on her, wind starts to blow away newspapers and magazines, and thunder strikes light up the sky.
The new scent of the iconic fashion house, described as an “audacious blend of dark and light elements”, with notes of jasmine, tuberose, roasted tonka beans, cocoa and others, captures the concept of feminine duality as it is dedicated to women who love their good side and celebrate their bad side. Good Girl comes in a uniquely designed black-lacquered bottle, with a ribbed-gold stiletto heel.
The ad, featuring the single “Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing” by Chris Isaak, from his 1995 album “Forever Blue”, ends with the tagline “It’s so good to be bad”.
