Oakley has released a new commercial, introducing Sapphire Fade Collection featuring Prizm Lens Technology, with the tagline “See What You’ve Been Missing”.
“Flat light, shadows, sun. Prizm Lenses dramatically enhance contrast, revealing details hidden from the naked eye”, says the voiceover in the 30-second spot, adding that Prizm Lens Technology, which is “built on decades of color science research”, “optimizes visibility regardless of the conditions”.
The ad, featuring various sportspeople, such as an athlete, a biker, a skier, a snowboarder, a motorcyclist, ends with the voiceover inviting you to “see clearly, react faster, perform with confidence”.
Oakley is a subsidiary of Italian company Luxottica, designs, develops and manufactures sports performance equipment and lifestyle pieces including sunglasses, sports visors, ski/snowboard goggles, watches, apparel, backpacks, shoes, optical frames, and other accessories. Its new lens technology fine-tunes vision for specific sports and environments.
