The 30-second spot, titled “Boldness Effect”, features regular persons who, after chewing chips from their nacho cheese Doritos bag (at home, on the couch, on the bus, and at the library), start doing bold things, such as staying on the top of a human pyramid cable skiing, volunteering to be tied up on a spinning target board for a knife thrower to show off his skills in a club, and climbing a tall building to take a selfie on the top. These persons then post “proof” of their bold activity on social media, and get hundreds of likes.
The brand, aiming to highlight that Doritos chip increase one’s boldness, mentions that these stunts are performed by professionals and recommends you to not attempt.
