Angelina Jolie stars in the latest commercial released by Guerlain to promote its new fragrance, Mon Guerlain.
The spot, directed by Terrence Malick, features the American actress, who has just been named the new face and muse of French luxury beauty brand, wearing a natural make-up and a white cotton dress and, of course Mon Guerlain, in a villa in Provence, and walking nearby, enjoying the amazing view.
She is also shown wearing a dark silk pyjama, reading a script in the living room, and then wearing an elegant black lace dress and going down white stairs.
According to Guerlain, it was Angelina herself the one who inspired the brand to create this fragrance,
described as a tribute to today’s free, strong and sensual feminity, and characterized by the freshness of
Lavender Carla, an exceptional variety cultivated in Provence, which contrasts with the voluptuousness of the
Sambac jasmine from India and the Australian Album Sandalwood, associated with the sensual Vanilla Tahitensis
of Papua New Guinea. The fragrance is expected to launch in March. The actress will donate her entire earnings
from the campaign to charity.
The soundtrack music used in the ad is “Awakening” by Andy Quin, which has been used also in the trailer for
Terrence Malick’s film To The Wonder.
