King Cobra is a plunge into the behind-the-scenes world of the pornography industry and into the life of the gay pornographic film actor Brent Corrigan.
Based on the book Cobra Killer by Andrew E. Stoner and Peter A. Conway, the film is directed by Justin Kelly and stars Garreth Clayton in the main role, Christian Slater as Stephen, a closeted gay porn mogul who transforms Corrigan into a star, James Franco as a rival producer of Stephen and Keegan Allan, as Franco’s unstable lover. The couple want to “steal” Corrigan and are able to do anything for this.
The cast includes also Alicia Silverstone and Molly Ringwald. King Cobra premiered in April, at Tribeca Film Festival, and it will be released in theaters and on VOD this fall, on October 21.
