The latest Subaru’s commercial, released to advertise the 2017 Subaru Legacy, features a young boy who damages everything he touches, until he finds one thing “built well enough to live up to the challenge”: his parents’ Subaru Legacy.
The 60-second spot, titled “The Boy Who Breaks Everything”, shows how the little boy breaks all kind of things, such as the bicycle, the backpack, the human body at the anatomy class, a huge plastic castle at the playground, a guitar and a wooden door. When he gets on the sly on his parents’ Subaru Legacy makes them panic for a moment, but the couple decide to wait for a second and see what happens. Well, they soon realize that nothing bad happens and feel relieved.
The spot ends with the voiceover saying: “At our house, we need things that are built to last. That’s why we got a Subaru. Subaru Legacy. The longest-lasting midsize sedan in its class. Love – It’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru”.
